After Nelly reaches the tower, then she must make her way down the rope and then defeat the monster before entering the Tower of Light.
Through the game, Nelly must cut the rope so as to prevent the monster Treadmills from breaking down it. The monster's motion, strength, and speed are all determined by the sort of rope which she cuts. As Nelly progresses through the degrees, she can go down or up.
