Freddy is always around, but he never attacks Jason or even Billy. Freddy is merely a background character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are actually fake, and that Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy have to find out what happened on Freddy and stop him before it's too late.

While the story of Five Nights in Freddy's is an interesting one, it might not be the best person about. Because of the way the game has been put together, the events which happen may appear unnecessary or confusing at first. However, as soon as the narrative and the figures are explained and the storyline begins to fall into place, the game begins to make sense.
